2027 BBA SUMMER LEAGUES Burgo Basketball Association Inc. South Dartmouth, Massachusetts Season Dates: June 1, 2027 – July 31, 2027 Season Director: Donovan Burgo The 2027 BBA Summer Leagues offer boys and girls a fun, organized, and competitive basketball experience during the summer months. Hosted by Burgo Basketball Association Inc. in South Dartmouth, our program focuses on skill development, teamwork, and a positive environment for all players. Throughout the season, players will participate in regular practices and games designed to help them improve their fundamentals—dribbling, shooting, passing, defense, and court awareness—while also learning the value of sportsmanship and respect. Teams are formed with attention to age and skill level to ensure safe, balanced, and enjoyable competition. The summer leagues are ideal for both returning players looking to sharpen their skills in the off-season and newer players who want to learn the game in a structured setting. All activities are supervised by experienced coaches and volunteers who are committed to helping each player grow in confidence and ability. Under the leadership of Season Director Donovan Burgo, families can expect clear communication, well-organized schedules, and a welcoming atmosphere. We encourage parents to support their players by attending games, reinforcing positive attitudes, and helping to create a strong sense of community around our program.
