Final BBA Lightning Fall AAU Tryout

Burgo Basketball Association Inc. is hosting the final tryout for our BBA Lightning Fall AAU teams in Dartmouth, Massachusetts. This is the last opportunity for players to earn a spot on our competitive fall travel teams.

Who Should Attend

This tryout is open to boys and girls who are interested in playing competitive AAU basketball, improving their skills, and representing Burgo Basketball Association in travel events.

• Committed players seeking higher-level competition
• Players eager to develop fundamentals, game IQ, and teamwork
• Athletes able to travel on select weekends for tournaments and games

What to Bring

• Basketball shoes and athletic clothing
• Water bottle
• Personal basketball (labeled with your name), if possible
• Completed waiver or required forms, if provided in advance

What to Expect

Players will be evaluated by our coaching staff on:

• Fundamental skills (ball-handling, shooting, passing, defense)
• Effort, attitude, and coachability
• Game situations, scrimmages, and decision-making

Team selections and next steps will be communicated shortly after the final tryout.

Travel & Commitment

BBA Lightning Fall AAU teams participate in regional travel for games and tournaments. Families should be prepared for:

• Weekend travel to participating tournament sites
• Regular practices during the fall season
• Team fees and potential travel-related expenses
